Choose Site4Us when your own photos and short clips are the centre of the gift. Choose LoveBook when you want an illustrated book of personal messages, particularly a physical book to unwrap. Both can be personal; the useful distinction is what you want to make and how your partner will open it.
This comparison is written by Site4Us. We checked LoveBook’s public product information on 9 September 2026; we have not ordered a book for a hands-on print-quality review.
What LoveBook currently offers
LoveBook’s creation guide describes choosing a cover, customising characters and personalising pages before printing and delivery. Its FAQ also lists digital books as PDF, EPUB and private web links, with invitation-only access available. It says photo uploads are not currently supported. LoveBook is therefore not simply an offline-only product.

A concrete anniversary example
For a fifth anniversary, choose one memory from each year. Write a sentence about what that moment meant and a final sentence about what you want to do together next. For a tenth anniversary, ten memories will exceed Site4Us’s eight-photo limit if each needs its own photo: select eight, combine the remaining moments into your writing, or choose a book if a longer illustrated record matters more.
Illustrative caption: “This was the tiny kitchen where we made our first birthday cake together. I still think of you whenever I smell burnt icing.” Replace it with a detail that belongs to your relationship; it is not a customer quote.
Cost, delivery and access
Site4Us is free to build and preview. Publishing is £19.99 per month or £199.99 once for Lifetime. The monthly plan renews until cancelled; the pricing page explains the plans. Check your finished preview before paying.
LoveBook pricing varies by the selected format and destination. Use its pricing and shipping tool for the current total and estimated arrival. We have not converted a promotional US price into a fixed UK comparison.
A digital link avoids postal delivery after publication, but you still need time to prepare and check the gift. A printed book needs production and delivery time. If you want a physical gift, do not choose a website simply because the deadline is close; a handwritten note now and a book later may fit better.
Check the limits before choosing
A Site4Us story supports up to 8 photos and 4 videos of up to 10 seconds each, with captions, names, dates, a countdown, a closing message and themes. Optional password protection controls access through a password. Keep copies of your original photos and videos separately. The website is a selected collection, not an unlimited archive or a book-printing service. Standalone audio uploads, a background-music player and RSVP management are not current Site4Us features.
Before sharing, open the published link on your partner’s likely device, check every caption and try the password if you set one. Do not include private chats or photos of other people without thinking about who will see them.
